Women Alternative Photography Group and Folk House Darkroom collaborated for the second time for The Art of Experimentation Online Conference. This two-day online conference brought together presentations from contemporary artists and researchers who explore the possibilities of alternative photographic processes. Presenters considered how contemporary practitioners are using innovative and unique approaches to photography to explore the possibilities of light sensitive materials. This international conference brought together speakers from around the world including Canada, England, Indonesia, Singapore, Turkey and the United States.

The Art of Experimentation Online Conference connected artists, researchers, curators, and arts practitioners to reflect on the different ways in which alternative photographic processes can explore concepts that inspire women, non-binary, and trans artists.
